We offer confidential and effective treatment for most mental health conditions for children and adolescents. We can offer you and your child an appointment with a specialist Child & Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist and devise a personalised programme to suit your needs and other commitments. The process is fast and easily accessible.
To book an initial consultation please contact us on 01732 763 491 or by email at 121help@cygnethealth.co.uk.
We aim to see our new service users within 72hrs of the initial contact. We offer early morning, evening and some weekend appointments to fit in around educational commitments. You can either be seen at the hospital or at an outpatient clinic nearer to your home, if more convenient.
At the first consultation, we will conduct a thorough assessment, which will include taking a history of the problem and any relevant medical history. We will then discuss treatment options and advise you on the most appropriate course of treatment dependant on your circumstances, problems and needs.
Our aim is to provide our service users with an affordable private psychiatric service and to offer prompt diagnosis and treatment. We are recognised by all major health insurance companies. If you are not covered by any private health insurance, we accept payment by cash, cheque or credit card.
In some cases it may be possible to be seen directly by one of our therapists, for example if you are self-funding or have insurance provided by BUPA or AVIVA.
Our In-house and Visiting Therapists have a wealth of experience in all areas of mental health and we can easily arrange for your child to meet with someone who is suitable for their needs. Family Therapy can also be arranged if required.
These 50-minute sessions usually take place once per week over a period of time (approx. 6-8 weeks initially) and the exact number and frequency of sessions can be discussed with the therapist and reviewed regularly to ensure you are receiving the most appropriate help.
